the clarisonic brush is AMAZING,even after first use i saw results,my skin was squeaky clean!! all makeup was removed 10X better, the brush comes in white and pink,i would recommend the pink one hence it gives 10% to breast cancer research so you are also helping out a great cause!! it is by far my most favorite purchase yet!
Pros:makes cleansers work 5x better
removes dirt,makeup,sebum,etc. 10x better
also makes your post products work MUCH better! Cons:a little on the pricey side
This is a tool that looks like a pen but one end has a small loop and the other end has a bigger loop.
This product makes pimple squeezing easy.
Once your pimple has formed a whitehead, soften the pimple with a cloth dampened with warm water and apply gentle pressure, next use the smaller loop end and place it over the pimple and gently press down and the pimple should burst. After I've done this, I take a clean cotton bud and dip it in some witch hazel and wipe the area.
In my opinion, it's much safer then using your fingers.
I also clean my tool with witch hazel before and after use.
I would only buy another one if my one broke.
Pros:Safer then using fingers Cons:A small travel case would be handy for when you travel, but this isn't a big deal.
Oh man... These were such a staple of mine back in high school. I used to use the papier poudre blotting sheets, but hated the powder because it didn't match my skin. When these came out I felt like they were made for me.
They instantly soaked out all the excess oil my adolescent body was pouring out by the bucketful. Somewhere along the way I was give the MAC sheets and just took to them. I really don't think there was much of a difference but I felt less teeny bopper not using the Clean and Clear sheets.
Its a shame that I let image sway me since these are so much cheaper. I'd definitely give them another shot.

If only these babies came a bit bigger in size. I feel for extremely oily skin I need to use 2 at a time to get the best oil absorbing performance. I like that they do not remove or mess with my foundation or concealor, doesn't smudge the makeup either. These are powder free, so leave no powdery film or residue behind. Not sure why the sheets are blue, must be something with blue, because the Alcone Sheets I have are blue as well. Soft, effective, but wish they were bigger. Oh and they perform equally compared to my Alcone Face-Matte Oil Absorbing Sheets.
My skin: NW25/sensitive/hyper-oily/acne prone w/ pink undertones.
Pros:doesn't mess with makeup, absorbs oil wonderfully Cons:too small
I'd read unbelievable reviews about this on drugstore.com, and put off buying it because of the price. I finally bought it recently in a rage wishing i could go back in time and tell my 10-year-old self to take better care of my face. Blackheads, acne scars, fine wrinkles... I'M ONLY 20 YEARS OLD. 30-day guarantee made me feel better about the money. After three days of use my blackheads were literally disappearing, and my skin was smooth. Now after just two weeks of use I dont wear foundation everyday. I don't have to anymore. I love this thing so much I want to cry. If you buy it on drugstore.com it comes with a free travel bag and renewal serum. It's worth it.
This is a stainless steel (guaranteed for life) extractor and is the same thing that professional aestheticians and dermatologists use. I know (as we all do) how bad it is to pick at the skin but if you MUST then this is the safest tool to use. I have stopped picking at zits like I used to but I use this from time to time to remove a blackhead and it works very well. Sometimes if needed, I will lance a zit and then very gently press on it with the extractor and it comes out easier. It has a small loop at one end and a larger one at the other so you can use it accordingly. I like to use it after my hot shower so my pores are open and always steralize it with alcohol.
I have very oily skin, and these sheets are amazing for touch-ups! They remove all the shine without messing up my makeup at all. (I have to use every possible bit of one sheet, or just use two sheets, to get my whole face.) The sheets have a blue powder on them that soaks up the oil, but they do not make your face blue! Just one touch of the sheet to my skin makes that area of my skin matte! They are super-thin (you get 50 sheets in the tiny package for only $5!), but the package has a convenient dispenser so you don't have to worry about the sheets sticking together or anything.
I don't think the sheets remove 100% of the oil because my face doesn't stay matte for quite as long as it does after I wash my face, but it stays matte for long enough. You can always apply a little extra powder after blotting for an even more perfect finish, but it usually isn't necessary!
Pros:Absorbs oil without removing makeup, inexpensive, good packaging Cons:None!
i love these little sheets. i bought them a long time ago because of the raves even though i didn't need it. i thought i'd keep them for back-up. recently, my skin's been getting a bit oily while i had makeup on, so i remembered i had these. i used it and they soaked the oil up quickly, without messing my foundation or anything else up. i was impressed. i now keep them in my bag in case i need them for when i'm on-the-go. i love how thin the packaging is and how the sheets are packaged. i usually use up 1-2 sheets for my whole face, which can get pretty oily. i'll definitely be repurchasing.
